C O N D I T I O N S


1. TRAVEL INSURANCE... Clients are strongly advised to protect their investment by purchasing Travel Insurance. Available separately from an insurance carrier, Travel Insurance protects Clients from financial loss before and during a trip for cancellations that occur for a covered reason. Read the information carefully. Villa Davide does not cover client losses due to Client's personal or family circumstances or those which could be covered by travel insurance.

2. TRANSFERABILITY... The Client may irrevocably transfer this booking to another person. The request must be made in writing and is subject to an administrative charge along with any other relevant charges. The transferee must sign a Booking Contact.

3. CLIENT CANCELLATION CHARGES... All cancellations are subject to penalties based on the date we receive Client's written notice requesting a cancellation of the Contract. The following cancellation charges are immediately due and payable by the Client (i) 60 or more days prior to the rental date specified in the Confirmation Invoice; the amount of the non-refundable deposit, (ii) Between 59 and 31 days prior to such rental date; a charge of 50% of the full contract price, (iii) Between 30 and 15 days prior to such rental date; a charge of 80% of the full contract price, (iv) Less than 14 days before such rental date; 100% of the full contract price. Changes requested by the Client to either the rental date or property result in a complete cancellation as specified above.

4. MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION BY THE PROPERTY OWNER OR VILLA DAVIDE... This Contract may be modified or cancelled at any time in any case where it is necessary to do so as a result of a force majeure or any other occurrence outside of our control. We will assist the Client in making a new booking. The Client is responsible for any rental cost increase due to a new booking. In the event a new booking is not possible, We will provide a full refund of monies paid for the cancelled Contract. We shall not be responsible for any other direct, consequential or incidental losses incurred by Client.

5. ANIMALS... Clients cannot bring animals to the property. 

6. PARTY SIZE... Including the Client, the number of guests lodging at any one time cannot exceed the total party size specified in the Confirmation Invoice. Failure to comply may result in additional guests being turned away and/or the entire party may be subject to eviction at their own expense. Unless otherwise stated in Web site, one child under 2 years of age whose bedding is provided by the Client is not counted as part of the total party size.

7. CHILD & INFANT SAFETY... Clients must provide their own portable crib, cot or bassinet. Any such equipment found at the property may not conform to common safety standards, is not inspected by Villa Davide and Client uses at his/her own risk.

8. BEHAVIOR... Guests must act responsibly and with respect towards other guests, the Keyholders (the property owner or manager in charge of the property) and their staff at all times. We reserve the discretionary right, acting in good faith, to require any individual to vacate a premise for disruptive behavior, without any refund.

9. NOT INCLUDED IN THE CONTRACT PRICE... Consumables of any kind such as food, condiments, cleaning supplies, soaps and toilet paper are not included in the contract price. Clients are advised to shop for these items locally prior to arriving at the property. Travel arrangements, insurance and transportation are also not included in the contract price.

10. INCLUDED IN THE CONTRACT PRICE... Unless otherwise specified in the individual property information by Villa Davide, the normal use of water, cooking gas, electricity, as well as basic cooking utensils, pots, pans, glassware, dinnerware and flatware are provided. 
11. PAYABLE PRIOR TO DEPARTURE, AT EXTRA COST... Unless otherwise specified in the property information, the cost for cleaning services, heat (available from November through March) and extra linens (where available), will be deducted from Client's security deposit. Client is also responsible for any amount exceeding the security deposit. Such costs are noted on the Reservation Contract and will vary according to season. 

12. RESERVING ADDED SERVICES... Requests for added services, such as a maid or cook, must be made in writing to Villa Davide when booking. Requests made after booking are subject to a $20 USD (£15 UK) administrative charge. These services are not guaranteed, are subject to change and are not included in the contract price unless otherwise specified in the individual property information by Villa Davide. We makes no representation as to the level or quality of the service, food, ingredients or preparation. Payment is due in cash Euro or on delivery to the Keyholder and no payment for services is made to Villa Davide directly. Once requests have been made, a decrease in the number of hours or participants cannot be processed. Changes require a minimum of 60 days notice and are subject to $20 USD (£15 UK) administrative charge and keyholder acceptance. Cancellation of services requires a minimum notice of 60 days prior to the rental date and is subject to the administrative charge. Cancellations within 60 days are not accepted. Client cannot employ outside third party service providers.

13. CASH SECURITY DEPOSIT... A security deposit in cash as specified in the Confirmation Invoice is payable upon arrival at the property. The Client is responsible to maintain and leave the property in the same condition of cleanliness and repair as upon arrival and remove all trash to the nearest town trash and recycling receptacle. Instructions for local trash pickup and recycling information are noted within Villa Davide. Any loss or damage to the property, its fixtures or fittings will be deducted from the security deposit. Client is further responsible for any damages exceeding the security deposit. Locally payable items or services may be deducted from the security deposit. Prior to departure, it is the Client's responsibility to obtain an accounting of the deposit and collect the unused portion. Villa Davide is not responsible for the return of Client's security deposit following a rental.
